I was born in a very poor Hindu Family. My parents were day labourer. We are 3 brothers and a sister.
In 1990, my father was sick, and had died without any treatment. When he died, our family was left completely destitute.
So I was sent to the orphanage in 1991.

In 1993, my family fled to India because of threat from the local Muslim gang. We had a small land & they occupied it forcefully.
At that time I was in the orphanage. I didn't get the news, and my family also was not able to contact me. Thus I became separated from my family.
Life in that orphanage was full of sufferings, hardworking, physical torturing, mental-depressions & sexual harassments. So I left that orphanage in 1998.

A kind Christian family had accepted me as a lodging student as well as their servant.
In the meantime, I was preparing to be baptized as a Christian. I was inspired by the teachers & other noble Christians to get baptism. Besides this, from my boyhood, from everywhere I've learnt about Christianity - the complete path of life.
I was baptized in the year 2000. On the same year, I passed the S.S.C. (Secondary School Certificate) Exam.
In 2002 I passed H.S.C. (Higher Secondary Certificate) Exam.
There was no communication with my family for 11 years! So I tried to get their news, searched for their address so that I could go to there and live with them. In June 2004, I became able to go India and met my family. It could be the time to rejoice but I couldn't do that! Because I found my family so poor and helpless more than me! My mother is a bedridden patient. They don't have their own house to live in. Because of poverty, my sister got married only at 16. My two brothers are day laborers, and their earning is not sufficient. They live hand to mouth.
So I was another burden to them. Moreover, I became Christian and they don't know it, and I also didn't want to hurt them.
So I came back to Bangladesh to live with my own effort. After then, I sometimes managed to visit my family in India. I want to do something for them, but I am not in position to help them financially.
After passing H.S.C. Exam in 2002, I wanted to get admition into the undergraduate program (B.Com or BBA). But I'd failed to get admitted because of want of money. Thus, I was out of study for 2 years. At last I'd got admitted into BBA program in a private university in October 2004.
I was determined to study to progress in my life but it seems impossible now.
Bangladesh is the poorest country. Ddon't have such facilities. Thousands of people. even the majority of the higher educated students have no surety & guarantee for getting a job. And competition is too high in job market.
As part time job, I do work as a house tutor giving tuition to the kids.
It's really hard to manage all my expenses. So always I'd have to drop courses to lessening fees. [My classmates, with whom I started the program, already graduated about a year ago! I'm expecting this year.
I know, there is God. But don't know, WHEN and HOW He will answer of my prayers. But I know - Prayer is Power.
